Marko Jovanović is a teaching assistant at the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He holds a master’s degree since 2011, with a master thesis entitled Principles of Using Generative Performative Design, which was awarded a year later, in 2012, by Trimo Research Awards. Same year, he enrolled in Doctoral studies, at the same faculty, where he is currently conducting his research regarding design and fabrication in architectural geometry. He is teaching in the same fields, mainly focusing on geometrical issues during design and optimization algorithms. He published his work regarding generative design issues and architectural fabrication in multiple conferences. In RAAD 2014 conference his research paper, won the best application award, implementing architectural design and robotic fabrication.
