The project explores the possibilities of applying parametric design and digital fabrication in the development of contemporary façade systems. Inspired by the principles of origami, the prototype utilizes curved folding of aluminum composite panels to transform flat elements into a continuous and fluid surface. The geometry and panel optimization were developed in Grasshopper 3D, establishing a direct connection between the digital model and its physical realization. A particular challenge was the installation within an interior space without the possibility of anchoring to the existing structure, which led to the development of a self-supporting system. Throughout the fabrication process, the material performance, possibilities for precise bending, and the behavior of the panels in forming complex geometry were investigated. The result is an experimental structure that demonstrates how standard façade materials can be reinterpreted through contemporary digital design and fabrication techniques.
