Exhibition Architectural visualization of Alvar Aalto’s objects

Exhibition “Architectural visualization of Alvar Aalto’s objects” presents results conducted within the course Architectural Visualization at Master program Digital Techniques, Design and Production in Architecture and Urbanism, FTN, Novi Sad.

Each poster depicted one exterior and one interior photorealistic rendered visualization of Alvar Aalto’s buildings. With this exhibition students and professors made an homage to Aalto’s work since last year was 120th anniversary of his birth.

Exhibition Architectural acoustics, Novi Sad, Serbia, February 2019

Exhibition “Architectural acoustics” present the results of a workshop held within the course Digital Fabrication at Master program Digital Techniques, Design and Production in Architecture and Urbanism, FTN, Novi Sad.

Aim was to explore various forms and patterns in order to create interesting spatial forms that can be applied as an acoustic interior element inspired with parametric and digital design.  Final phisical models are fabricated with two types of material utilizing software and machines for digital fabrication.

Exhibition Parametric Kirigami, Novi Sad, February 2018

Exhibition Parametric Kirigami, Novi Sad, February 2018

The exhibition is the result of a five-day workshop held on course Digital Fabrication on the Master Program Digital Techniques, Design and Production in Architecture and Urban Planning, FTN, Novi Sad.

The aim was to explore a large number of shapes and paterns and create interesting spatial relationships inspired by parametric and digital design. Kirigami (Japanese Traditional Cutting and Bending Technique) was an initial inspiration, while students at the workshop improved their skills and knowledge in this technique. Final models are made of two types and colors of paper, using only digital fabrication tools and software. Also, the brochures were part of the final product and exhibition.

Exhibition Kanda Lampa, Novi Sad, February 2017

The exhibition presents the results of a five-day workshop held on course Digital Fabrication at Digital Techniques, Design and Production in Architecture and Urban Planning, FTN, Novi Sad.

The aim was to explore various forms and paterns in order to create interesting lighting and spatial relationships, inspired by parametric and digital design. The final lamp models are made of one type of material and connectors, using software and tools for digital production. Also, brochures and packaging were an integral part of design and were presented at the exhibition with models.

Exhibition Folded skins at the MUWA Museum in Graz, Austria, March 2015

Exhibition Folded skins at the MUWA Museum in Graz, Austria, March 2015

Within the Master program Digital Technology, Design and Production in Architecture and Urbanism, one-year postgraduate studies at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, on the Digital Fabrication course, students made models of facade elements out of paper in the scale of 1:1 using a laser cutter. On the course, students studied and modeled a design that relies on the logic and technique of bending thin planar materials in order to apply it as a parametric modular element of the facade. The result of the project are prototypes of façade elements made using parametric modeling tools and digital laser-cutting.

The course was held in cooperation with the University of Novi Sad and the University of Technology from Graz, and was run by the guest prof. Milena Stavric and prof. Albert Wiltsche from the Institute for Architecture and Media from Graz.

The exhibition was set up at the MUWA Museum of Perception in Graz, Austria, in March 2015.

Participants: Balint Boglarka, Folić Dejan, Guzina Bojana, Jekić Jovana, Jovanović Nataša, Kićanović Jelena, Leskovac Stefan, Ljuboja Igor, Nađ Igor, Nešić Milica, Mastilović Marija, Mitrović Dragana, Petrović Milena, Ristić Jelena, Vučić Marko, Živanov Mirjana sa Univerziteta Novi Sad i Dragana Tepić sa Univerziteta Banja Luka.
