The course deals with the analysis and simulation of environmental performance in architecture and urbanism. Simulations of insolation, solar radiation, external and internal thermal comfort, CFD analysis are included. Various types of software such as Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Honeybee and CDF simulation allow adequate measurement of environment performance. In interaction with parametric modeling, they can indicate potential problems during the initial phase of designing an architectural object or designing an urban environment. Accordingly, it is possible to solve the observed problems at the beginning or during the planning and design process and thus create architectural objects and urban areas with a pleasant space for people to stay.
