Digital Design

Course Digital Design includes the theoretical and practical frameworks of the new paradigm in architecture that relies on the application of digital technologies in architecture. The course addresses practical problems using modern tools for parametric modeling (Grasshopper and Rhinoceros), as well as various tools for optimizing geometric shapes in order to increase the energy and structural performance of an object such as Autodesk Ecotect and genetic algorithms.

Students work:

String artString art is created by using string or wire, which are intertwined around pre-placed pins, with the aim of obtaining certain shapes and/or representations. As part of the work, this type of work was applied in the interior, using digital design.
Snickers rackThe lack of creativity of retail stores in displaying their products and their appropriate presentation to consumers is the core idea of this project.
Penrose Origami PavilionOrigami pavilion is an attempt to answer the arising challenges in a construction of a self-supporting structures.
Canopy over Stadium Stands in VršacThe city stadium in Vršac does not have a canopy over the stands, which results that inhabitants are visiting games and events in the stadium only during ideal outdoor weather conditions.
Biofilia FacadeModern psychologists in over 60 published scientific studies support the thesis of "biofilia", according to which people respond positively to the forms of the design from the nature.
Quarter Club Adaptation in Novi SadThe aim of this project was to adapt the space to the reproduction of music of a particular genre, in this case rock and metal rock music (through analysis of acoustics and acoustics project design), improve insolation control, improve thermal insulation, and increase the ambient value of the object...
Railway Station Canopy in Novi SadSelf-organizing systems: multi-agent systems - intelligence of flocks.
fotoGAMI - Interactive FacadeThe Workers' University Building in Novi Sad was hit by a fire in 2014 and has not been restored to date. With its height, it has always been an urban landmark.
Belgrade TowerThe Belgrade tower project is a study that has explored different approaches for designing high-sensitivity buildings on various environmental influences such as insolation and wind.
